Artist Statement

"Light is all around us, surrounding us. We do not notice their existence till the moment the sun goes down or till the night came falling".
As an Art educator/ Art practioner every kind of media interest me but what capture most of me is photography, the capturing of light. Without light there is no photography...Light has fascinate me so much that I have not stop photography, be it as a hobby or a media to express myself, since the moment I have see "light".

This series of artwork which I call "Light painting" is an Experimental Art which uses photopapers as canvas and developer and fixer as the ink along with the help of light. Capturing the light, presenting the light to the audience.

Serving the nation

Below are some photos taken during my National Service Days. These pictures are taken while on a overseas training in Rockhampton town, Australia. My platoon mates' faces of joy, sadness, hope and heartache deeply influenced me and these photos are my attempts to capture those "lights".
